Your backend receives a decision, reason codes and only the fields you are approved for. The documents stay with us, encrypted, for as long as the rules require.

Local rules, built in
Some countries limit which ID numbers may be collected. Zoi ID follows those rules for you.
- Korean ID cards, residence cards and driving licences: cover the last 7 digits of the resident registration number before you take the photo. We also blur them on our side and check that they cannot be read.
- Japanese My Number card: we accept the front only. Photos of the back are refused.
- Indian Aadhaar cards are not collected. Users verify with a PAN card, voter ID, driving licence or passport instead.
- For every document, optional personal number fields are left out of the data we store.
