Marketplaces and the sharing economy

Fake and repeat accounts erode trust between buyers and sellers.

Duplicate detection tells you when the same document is already verified on another account.
With the duplicate link scope you get your own user id of the earlier account, for account recovery.
You receive a verified status, not documents you would have to store.

Gaming and age-restricted services

You need to know that a player is an adult, not to hold their passport.

Every answer says whether the person is over 18, without a date of birth.
Year of birth is available as a separate scope if your rules need it.
Images of people under the minimum age are deleted within 24 hours.

Workforce and gig platforms

Couriers, drivers and remote staff must be who they say they are, and stay that way.

Driving licences and other documents without an MRZ are accepted and checked by trained reviewers.
Identities expire with the document or after 36 months, so checks are repeated on time.
The hosted web flow runs in any phone browser, without installing an app.
